How can I directly ask Dr. Newsome any questions I may have?

Dr. Newsome is more than happy to answer any of your questions. Email us at drnewsome@bellsouth.net and he will do his best to respond within 24 hours.

What do I need to bring for my first appointment?

Download and fill out our NP Forms 2016 and bring it with you to the office.

My gums bleed after I brush my teeth. Should I be concerned?

The bleeding could be due to improper brushing habits. You may be scrubbing too harshly or using a toothbrush with too rough of bristles. However, this can also be a symptom of periodontal disease. Contact us today so we can figure out the underlying cause of the bleeding.

If I don’t have good insurance, is dental work a good investment?

Yes! Dental work not only provides greater oral health, but it provides greater overall health and improved confidence. Don’t let lack of insurance stop you from seeing us. We are partners with CareCredit, which has affordable payment plans which often are interest-free. We will work with you to figure out something that works.

I brush my teeth everyday, but I still have bad breath. What can I do?

This is a common problem known as halitosis. If flossing daily, twice-daily brushing and twice-a-year professional cleanings don’t do the trick, call the office so we can discuss more options for you.

Is flossing every day really that important?

Yes! Regular brushing alone does not do enough to thoroughly clean your teeth. Flossing cleans out the plaque and food between the teeth that a toothbrush can’t reach. It also improves gum health.

I don’t have insurance or credit. What are my options?

We offer a Dental $avings Plan to help you afford dental care. This discounted fee schedule only works for Newsome Complete Health Dentistry.

What are my payment options?

Financial limitations should never be a barrier in access to dental care. Oral health is essential to your overall health, and regular checkups and cleanings help prevent severe diseases down the road. Plus, a healthy smile means confidence that is worth more than any amount of money. Therefore, we offer several different payment options, to accommodate all of our patients.
